Well a couple of nights ago we received a wonderful phone call from our awesome realtor! Back in Early November we put a bid in on a short sale home....we've been waiting ever so patiently for a response (lol those of you who know me know I am not a patient person at all).
Well the wonderful call we received was telling us we got a verbal approval on the house!! Yay!! Yipppeee! We should have the formal written approval from the bank by Monday, Jan. 10 and then on to the inspection we go. If all goes well with the inspection then in 30 days we should be handed the keys to OUR NEW HOME! OMG OMG OMG is this real....can it be?!
Words cannot explain what a huge blessing this is to us and we are so excited and thankful for it.
Now of course there is the possibility that the inspection could end up telling us that there are problems with the house...ones that will cost more than we can afford....this we are totally prepared for (well Matt is probably more prepared than I am...but we all know that) and if that happens then we know this just wasn't the house for us.
For now we just jumped over a huge hurdle and we are on to the next one! A very exciting time in our life and for our family!
Thank you to all those have been there with us and prayed and supported us....its great to have family and friends like you! No matter what happens we know that the right house is out there for us and will be ours soon enough.
