So many emotions running through my head. Worried, Anxious, Nervous, Happiness, Sadness....yes even on a day like this sadness runs through my mind.
When you have been living in the same place for 3 years you get comfortable....although the space might be cramped and there is no room for anything it's still been the stable home for your family...a familiar place.
Said my prayers and off to the inspection we went....all was calm. We were a little surprised to see the condition of the house...a lot more messy than when we had originally looked at it. Matt assured me it was nothing some cleaning solution and new paint couldn't fix. This house...our soon to be new home as the inspector Karen put it just needs a family to love it and take care of it. A sense of overwhelming happiness entered me at the point....she's was exactly right. What a difference it will be once we have cleaned...changed a few things and added our own touches to it.
The inspector who handled the structural and outside areas went over the report with us...shared a few things we may want to change and sent us on our way with a passing report. The inside was the same....grinning and so excited I could barely contain myself....now it was time for the pest inspector....as he made he was around the house and inside....it seemed like forever....I have to admit we were a little afraid there would be issues beyond our control. The thought of this house not being the one lingered over us....the wonderful process of buying a house...would we really have to start it all over....looking and bidding....waiting on the bank....all those fun, tedious things. NOPE! No buggy problems for us! Our soon to be new home has past the entire inspection with flying colors and some very helpful hints of things we could change and do to keep it in good condition.

Yay! The house is ours! We close on or before Jan. 31! Now all we can do is wait for the title company to tell us they are ready for us to sign the papers and then the keys are ours!
Of course we have decided once we have the keys we are going to take our time and deeply clean the house and get it ready to be filled with all of our stuff! VERY EXCITING!
The kids are very very happy and excited to have their own rooms and own space with all their own stuff, as you can see they have already started looking over paint samples.....no more bickering and arguing over sharing space! Mommy and Daddy are so happy about this! Of couse we know this won't solve all those brother sister issues but it will sure help! Cali too...she is going to be in heaven to have the extra room in the house to roam around and then of course the large front and back yard!
Lots of exciting times a head and we are so blessed to have this all happening for us! Praise God...he is always right on time and knows exactly what we need....and points us in the right direction!
