Well Mother's Day was a fun family day for me and a very different day this year. It was MY first Mother's Day that was all about me and it was kind of nice. We took the kids to the visit Granny Roe and then went to the Waterpark and spent time as a family together playing in the water and riding the slides...It was really so much fun and something we haven't done just the 4 of us in a while. We were so caught up in all our fun we ended up getting a little too much sun...
when we got home we played games together and just enjoyed our time! Pizza for dinner = no cooking for this Mommy! (even better!) Although there were no special gifts, flowers, trips or cards it was still a very memorable day. My husband may not be the most romantic guy but he is definately the most real. He lets me be me and we work very hard together to make our family work and run smoothly. I couldn't be the wonderful mom I am without him and all of his help! He detailed me truck for me...which is awesome in my book! I love you Matt with all my heart and I couldn't pick a better person to share a life with! Always always!
We didn't forget our Moms...we shared our gift with Matt's mom on Thursday before Mother's Day. My mom was out of town for Mother's Day but she did gets cards and we spoke before she left. It's all good.
Life takes us in many directions...right now we are enjoying our little family and spending our time together. Couldn't be happier with the direction we are headed.
