My Love

My Love...My Hubby....My Boo

When you've been hurt and let down over and over you start to think that every guy is the same...and will always do the same things. It takes a special man to change that outlook.

I thank God every day for bringing Matt into my life and showing me what real unconditional love is and for renewing my faith in marriage and commitment. My love and admiration for him grows stronger with each day and I couldn't be more proud to call him my husband! Through the ups and downs we remain a team and we get through everything together....it's not his life or my life...it is OUR LIFE and we are loving every minute of it.

It brings tears to my eyes to see him in "daddy" mode....he is amazing with Payton and Paige...and they are very blessed to have him in their life as well. I always think of the quote: "Anyone can father a child but it takes a real man to be a dad" He has taught the kids so many things...and help me to guide them through life...I am confident in their success and will always be thankful to Matt for all he has done....he is truly someone they can look up to and he will always be there for them....for us!

I love that we are one! We think alike, we enjoy the same things....we have lots of fun together. This is the happiest I have been since my kids were born. He means the world to me and I truly adore him.

The Greatest Gifts in the World

Could there be any greater of a gift than a child?! I just don't think so.

I always knew I wanted to be a mommy but I never imagined the amount of impact it would have on my life. I look into my kids eyes and I am filled with joy and happiness! The love we share is like no other and it cannot be compared to any other.

It's crazy to think they look up to me and I set the example for them....it can be challenging to remember this and to always be mindful of it. They mimic just about everything we do from the very beginning of their life.

I couldn't be more proud of them...and of course just as soon as I type that I am sure they will do something to make me even more proud. They are just plain awesome! The best there is....(of course I probably am a little bias) they are the most well behaved kids I have ever come across, well mannered and very respectful....nice little pat on the back for Mommy if I do say so myself. Since about 2 I have heard over and over how hard on them I am and how mean I am...but boy let me tell you...I am sure everyone is thanking me for it now. They don't tear the house up when we come to visit....we can go out to dinner and they are calm, sit still and listen....we can walk around the mall and they stay right with us....they are developing into perfect little people.

I love watching them grown and learn....they are both very intelligent kids! Seeing their personalities developing just melts my heart.....my babies are not babies anymore. Tears fill my eyes with those words....they will always be my babies even when they are in their 80's!

Payton and Paige.....2 of the most wonderful blessings that have ever entered my life. I thank God for them and I thank them for all they have taught me about life....its more than they will ever realize. I LOVE YOU BOTH more than anything!

Blogging

What is this blogging everyone is speaking about?! Hmmm...

At first I thought it was some type of sport or ski move or really to be honest with you I just had no clue what the heck everyone was talking about...well, this is it.

So I have entered the Blogging world...and to be honest with you...I kinda like it. What a great way to clear your mind and say what you want to say....and so much easier than hand writing in a journal.

Hope you stick around to see where this blogging thing takes me!
